IT was fairytale fundraising as Bright Eyes Day Nursery in Burcot Lane raised £650 for breast cancer awareness.
Last Friday saw staff dress up as fairies, and boys and girls paid 50p each to wear blue and pink respectively. Raffles and a name the teddy competition were also held, and breast cancer bands were also on sale.
The group then completed three laps of Sanders Park in Saturday's sponsored walk.
Nursery nurse Claire Bruce said: "Thank you for all the support from parents and sponsors. The day went really well."
