TOWN mayor Richard Morris walked the High Street to talk with traders about their views and visions for the future.
In his role as chairman of the High Street regeneration committee, the mayor spoke about how trade was going currently and how it could be improved during last Thursday's walkabout.
Speaking after the event the mayor said: "We have some great shops in the High Street and I urge people to try them out. As well as the services, there are many shops which will cater for your many needs or you can just have a coffee and snack and enjoy the atmosphere of our historic street."
