A PROJECT for young people in Redditch is one of four in the West Midlands to have scooped thousands of pounds from the Big Lottery Fund.
What's Your Point? has been awarded £123,854 for its project, which helps provide opportunities for young people in Woodrow who have become disillusioned at school.
The project aims to help the youngsters develop new skills and help their local community in the process.
Activities on offer to the 11-18 year olds include arts and crafts, photography and sporting events.
The grants are given from the Big Lottery Fund's Young People's Fund programme to support youth initiatives that bring new skills, change attitudes and give young people more of a voice.
The fund will eventually distribute £40 million of lottery cash to groups working with young people across England in the next two years.
