A NEW programme of sporting activities is being launched by Redditch's Action Sport organisation.
The scheme includes hockey, tennis, athletics and basketball in venues across the town, including Arrow Vale Sports Centre, Redditch Hockey Club and the Abbey Stadium Sports Centre.
Hockey activities will take place at Redditch Hockey Club in Bromsgrove Road.
The six-week course starts on November 2 with sessions running from 4.30-6pm. Each session will cost £1 (non Reddicard) or 50p (concessionary/ Reddicard).
A five-week tennis coaching programme is being held at Arrow Vale Sports Centre from now until November 9, excluding half- term week.
There will be two sessions each week. The first will run from 5-6pm for those aged seven to 10 years and the second from 6-7pm for 11 to 14-year- olds.
The price for the five-week block will be £11 (non Reddicard), £9 (Reddicard) and £4.50 (concessionary).
Also being held at Arrow Vale Sports Centre is an eight-week basketball coaching programme for boys and girls aged nine to 11 years.
The course started on Friday and runs from 4.45-6pm. The price for each session is £1 (non Reddicard) and 50p (concessionary/Reddicard).
Abbey Stadium will be commencing a 12-week athletics coaching programme on November 1 from 4-5pm.
The course will take a break after December 13 for Christmas and start again on January 10. The price for each session will be £1 (non Reddicard) and 50p (concessionary/Reddicard).
