THE club met again on September 13 after its usual break. The title for the evening was "What a Lovely Bunch".
This week the form of ideas on what to do when presented with many bunches of flowers for a birthday and too few vases to put them all in! Glynis and Joyce demonstrated arrangements in household containers, using an empty coffee jar, a gravy boat and a teacup and saucer.
The demonstration table looked lovely. Glynis and Joyce then produced two lovely chocolate gateaux baked by Joyce; complete with candles to emphasis the birthday effect. These were enjoyed with the coffee and tea.
There was only one entry in the competition entitled "gardens of the world" and Diane Hill won this.
The October meeting was held on the 11th of the month and the demonstrator was from Mark from Alcester Flowers.
