STAFF at the Roman Alcester Heritage Centre welcomed their 10,000th visitor at the weekend.
The centre, based in Globe House, is boasting its bumper crop of visitors since its opening last year.
David Moulson, chairman of the trust which runs the museum, said the visitors' book showed people had come from as far away as China, America, Australia and Croatia.
"You name it, they are visiting from there," he added.
"We want people in the town to know this has not been a white elephant - it's a vibrant place with people visiting from all over the world."
The museum houses an interactive exhibition of discoveries from the town and surrounding area, including coins and jewellery, and a reconstruction of an archaeological dig.
Mr Moulson said the recent discoveries in Bleachfield Street could also boost the number of visitors.
"The finds will go off to Warwick to be analysed but then we will most likely be able to get some sent back here," he said.
"But we do need more volunteers to help run the centre, so anyone who wants to volunteer would be warmly welcomed."
Anyone over 18 can volunteer and no experience is necessary. For more details, call Mr Moulson on 01789 764092.
