TWO Worcestershire hotels have retained a prestigious award for quality of service from the motoring organisation, the RAC.
Brockencote Hall, in Chaddesley Corbett, near Kidderminster, has been given a blue ribbon, while the Elms Hotel, Abberley, was presented with a white one.
This year just 255 properties in Great Britain and Ireland were singled out for special recognition after anonymous visits by expert RAC Hotels inspectors.
For hotels, townhouses, and restaurants, the RAC Gold Ribbon award recognises the finest standards in comfort, cuisine and service.
The RAC Blue Ribbon acknowledges a level of true excellence in those same areas, while the recently introduced RAC White Ribbon recognises high standards coupled with a recognisable level of commitment, enthusiasm and warmth of service.
