ALCESTER library has reopened after its long-awaited refurbishment.
The library opened on Monday, presenting new books, displays, seating, and a public toilet.
It now boasts a new computer suite offering 26 computer terminals, run in partnership with Stratford College.
And funding from Advantage Alcester has also helped provide a learning and training room for the community.
Linda Smith, area manager south and east, said: "The library services now on offer to the people of Alcester are vastly improved and we hope people will pop in and see for themselves."
Opening hours are from 9.30am, Monday to Saturday, and the library closes at 7pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, 12.30pm on Tuesdays and Saturdays and 5.30pm on Thursdays and Fridays.
