SEXY men performing steamy fantasies are sure to cause a few fluttering hearts when their toned muscles turn up in Worcester tomorrow.

The Swan Theatre will be getting risqu with a raunchy night of ladies' entertainment when male glamour act, The Dreamboys, perform.

The Dreamboys have become famous for allowing audience participation, with women encouraged to get up close and personal on stage.

The high-energy show will see the men sing and dance as well as act out fantasy scenes intended to drive the audience wild.

However, despite the sexually charged atmosphere, a spokeswoman for Huntingdon Arts, which runs the Swan, does not believe the show will be too racy.

She said: "It's a very tasteful show and the men are very professional.

"It is bringing in a lot of big groups of girls, hen nights and office parties. It's a good girlie night out."

The successful show is in the city for one night only and will be followed by another X-rated act described as the "ancient art of genital origami".

The world famous Puppetry Of The Penis is at the Swan on Friday, October 21.

It features full frontal nudity, but the show - which involves performers making shapes from their private parts - is described by promoters as not being of a sexual nature. It can count Elton John, Naomi Campbell and Posh and Becks as fans and has been received well all over the globe.

The Mayor of Worcester, Councillor Aubrey Tarbuck, said he believed the performances would be civilised and respectable.

He said: "(Huntingdon Arts director) Chris Jaeger has really lifted the Swan. I am sure we can rely on his expertise as he knows what will attract people."

The Swan is still celebrating persuading former James Bond lovely Britt Ekland to star in this year's pantomime, Jack And The Beanstalk. It is a far cry from three years ago, when the theatre was fighting for survival after running out of money.

Both shows are restricted to over-18's only.
