ROY Rencher takes charge of his first Stourport Swifts match tonight when Paulton Rovers visit Walshes Meadow in Southern League Division One West (7.45).
Swifts have been in turmoil since Dave Titterton quit last month, culminating in a dressing room dispute during Saturday's 5-0 thumping at Brackley Town.
Ex-Sutton Coldfield youth team coach Rencher said: "There was a little bit of internal disruption with a certain player and it got a bit unsavoury in the dressing room.
"It's upset the team performance which we have dealt with in the last 48 hours."
Rencher intends to bring his own ideas to the mix, as well as some experienced players, but has made his first priority stabilising the team who are suffering from injuries in addition to players leaving.
"We are a bit disappointed we have lost two or three players but we are looking to bring some in," said Rencher.
Midfielder Adam Hughes, a former Walsall reserve, has joined after spending six months in Spain, while utility player Chris Hughes has been brought in from Sutton.
Rencher also hopes to capture Adam Robinson, a left-sided player from Midland Alliance outfit Romulus.
"Once we put the hard work in the results will start to come," the new boss added. "We need to steady it down first and put a few points on the board.
"It's not the start we would have wanted but we are 100 per cent confident we will get there."
