THE Malvern RFC youth rugby website, www.malvernrugbypost.co.uk has become a 'big hit' with rugby fans who surf the net.
The latest 'visitor' figures provided by Newsquest (Midlands) Ltd, which hosts the website at the servers in Nottingham, show a massive jump in 'hits' throughout the last season.
The website received an average of over 2,000 hits (or visits) per month between July 2004 and July 2005, which is up by 800 to 1,000 hits per month for the same period for the previous season.
The website is due to be redesigned in August with new photos and downloads and web pages for fans of Malvern's premier women's rugby squad, the Malvern Angels, who will be sharing the website facilities from the end of next month.
As part of the re-design process, all of the match reports, photos and news stories currently held in website archives will be deleted from mid-August to make room for new batch of archived stories and features.
Therefore, youngsters who want to save copies of their favourite a match report, news item or photograph should do so now, before they are deleted.
