ON Sunday, October 2 my husband and I were shopping in Worcester. We walked down Pump Street, and noticed that a care worker had parked her car while obviously attending a call.
She had put her notice in the window stating her reason for parking, but she had a parking ticket on her window.
She was not blocking anyone or any entrance. I hope that the uncaring traffic warden who booked her might one day need a call from a care worker or it may be one of his family who needs someone.
I believe that traffic wardens are now on "points for prizes." Perhaps he needed a few extra points for a new television or holiday.
