MALVERN Town start their Midland Football Alliance season tomorrow (Saturday) when they entertain last season's runners-up Chasetown (3pm).
Manager Neil Hunt however must have been very satisfied with his side's last four friendlies which have seen Town score 13 goals and only concede a penalty.
Town's new signings, in particular striker Mark Shepherd, appear to have settled in and the side needs to take this confidence into the match against Chasetown.
The Staffordshire visitors however will not be relishing their opening game against the Town as last season Malvern defeated them 4-2 away in October, although they were held to a 0-0 draw at Langland Stadium in April.
On Tuesday (August 16) Town are away at Stratford Town (7.45pm).
