BUSINESSES are all set to give their support to Worcester Cathedral.
Supper after Business is a networking event to raise awareness and funds for the Worcester Appeal for Music and Light, to replace two worn-out organs, provide support for choristers and install lighting in the cathedral. The music and wine reception, on Friday, November 4, will be followed by supper, with guest speaker Sir Digby Jones, director general of the Confederation of British Industry.
Event co-ordinator Chris Wright said: "It is so easy to take the magnificent cathedral that dominates our city for granted and think that its future is safe and sound in someone else's hands. It belongs to each and every one of us, who work and live in and around the city of Worcester." For more information contact the appeal office on 01905 611002.
