REAL ale and beers from Worcestershire and Here-fordshire will be on tap during Eckington's first beer festival being held this weekend.
The event, being held at the Anchor Inn and Restaurant is due to start at 7pm tonight, with traditional beer, cider and live music. After months of preparation, bar manager, Gareth Blythin is looking forward to a weekend of celebrations.
"The locals are really looking forward to it and we've had a lot of interest from the village and surrounding areas," he said.
There will be a variety of cask ales, lagers and traditional ciders at the Cotheridge Lane pub, from breweries in Malvern, Pershore, Here-ford, Wyre Piddle, near Pershore, and Callow End, near Malvern.
Interest in real ales has increased over the last few years as more and more people have rejected mass-produced beers.
From the Mutts Nutts and Autumn Gold, to War Drum and Priessnitz, a flavoursome cask conditioned lager without the fizz, there will be something for every one.
