AT Holy Trinity, Bosbury, tonight (Friday) at 6.30pm it will be the harvest festival, followed by a ceilidh and ploughman's supper in the parish hall.
Tomorrow (Saturday) at 7.30pm at the church, there will be a a concert given by the Hills Singers, directed by Carol Green. The programme includes Bruckner's Locus Iste, Parry's My soul, there is a country and Josquin's Ave Maria. Tickets on the door are adults £6, children £3, family £15, to include a glass of wine or non-alcoholic drink and light refreshments.
Yoga classes take place on Wednesday from 9.30am to 11am at the parish hall, beginners welcome. For information ring Jennifer Balmain on (01531) 640166 or come along to the hall.
At Holy Trinity, Bosbury, on Sunday (October 9) parish communion is at 9.30am.
Bosbury WI hold its annual craft and produce show on Thursday, October 13, at 7.30pm at the parish hall.
On Saturday, October 15, at the village coffee morning there will be a seasonal plant sale. Many of the plants for sale will be ready for autumn planting and are excellent value. Contributions to the plant stall would be much appreciated. If you would like them collected please ring Frank Krinks on (01531) 640076.
In the evening at 7.30pm the film Under the Tuscan Sun will be screened at the parish hall.
An advance notice of a bridge drive, in aid of the parish hall renovation fund, on Tuesday, November 8, at 6.45pm for 7pm. Tickets £5 to include refreshments, obtainable from the village shop or Sue Bolt on (01531) 640268.
