LAST Saturday a harvest supper at Powick Parish Hall was well supported, with over 100 people sitting down to enjoy a superb buffet, followed by a selection of sweets. Special thanks to Julie Evans, Helen Bartlett and friends for organising the food, to Jim Allsopp and Roger Gurney for the bar and to Anne Farr for some fine autumnal table decorations. The Blue Reeds musical entertainment was enjoyed, Robert Floyd sold raffle tickets and among the prize winners were Ben Glass, George Farr, Diana Mallam, Ralph Teague, Elissa Manton, Marion Portman and Mary Adams. Thanks to Tom King as chief washer-up and to all who helped clean away the dishes and tidy the kitchen. The hall committee would like to thank all who supported the event.
