WORCESTER'S Simon Archer rolled back the years to win the Worcestershire restricted open men's singles title at Barnt Green.
Archer defeated the current champion from Bromsgrove, Stuart Holder, by a 15-6, 15-10 margin.
The Olympic bronze medal winner, normally a doubles player, was using the singles event to improve his court movement following recovery from an injury.
Holder had some compensation in the men's doubles when he and partner John Cowie retained their title with a 15-12, 15-11 defeat of Tony Cole and Adrian Casey.
The experienced Lorraine Cole from Blackwell just missed out on a treble when losing in the women's doubles final.
Earlier she secured the mixed doubles and women's singles title against a youthful Kelly Mead 11-5, 11-5.
