WITH reference to the photograph of men marching over Worcester river bridge, Roger F de Boer is very close to the truth.
The actual event was featured in the Berrows Illustrated Supplement of April 10,1915, and shows Worcester Volunteer Training Corps First Route March.
A later march that year went to the Old Hills that could well have been their destination for the first march.
