boat trip on the River Thames: The coach took members to Lechlade where they saw the toll bridge called Halfpenny Bridge. They then boarded a boat which took them up to Buscot. During the journey they saw the figure of Old Father Thames and also enjoyed lunch on board.
Mr Dudley Smith gave the vote of thanks to Angela and Alan.
Club holiday to Sandown on the Isle of Wight: After crossing on the ferry from Southampton the coach arrived in Sandown at the hotel where members were able to unpack and have an early evening meal. Visits included Waltzing Waters, a display of coloured fountains accompanied by music, the botanical gardens in Ventnor, Osborne House and the Needles.
The holiday ended on Friday and members arrived back in Moreton and Blockley just after 4pm.
Mrs Mavis McLoughlin thanked Angela and Alan for all their hard work.
