STOURPORT Ladies made a storming start to life in the Midland Conference League with a 3-1 victory at Wellingborough.
A brace from Kerry Walker and a Melissa Kennedy effort were enough to secure an opening day victory. They play host to Birmingham University at 2pm on Saturday.
l Stourport Ladies seconds also secured success in Worcestershire Division One with a 3-2 vicotry at Harborne thirds.
Georgina Burns, Sarah Cavendish and Wilma Martin were all on target for the seconds who entertain Kings Heath firsts at 12.30pm on Saturday.
l Stourport Ladies thirds eventually came out on top in their end-to-end Worcestershire Division Two clash with Badesy, winning 6-2.
Braces from Rosie Connolly, Teri Baron and Jessica Trundle did the damage.They visit Camp Hill at 12.30pm on Saturday.
l The fourths were without a fixture last weekend but still took the points after Kings Heath conceded the result.
They visit Droitwich thirds in Worceste-rshire Division Three at 10.30am on Saturday.
Kidderminster
KIDDERMINSTER Ladies suffered a 5-3 home reverse against Malvern despite taking the lead twice.
Goals from Kerry Venskus and captain Becky Weaver put Kidderminster on top on two occasions, but they couldn't hold on.
With midfielder Kay McDonald suffering a back injury and no substitutes, Kiddermister failed to contain Malvern.
And although player of the match Amy Grove scored a third it proved little more than a consolation.
Kidderminster will be boosted by the return of Lucy Hancock, who has been out with a knee injury for a year, when they host Cresconians at 11.30am on Saturday.
