RED Lion B player Darren Edwards hit a maximum 160 start against Bowling Club B in the Banks's Bewdley darts league on Friday night.
Bowling Club B pushed Lion to the limit with some great darts but Edwards was the star thrower of the night, helping his team win the final doubles clash to take the match 4-3.
Waggons A finally lost their 26-match unbeaten run in all competitions when they were undone by Waggon B with their conquerors also replacing them to the top of the league.
Craig Hopkins, Stacey Cooke and Des Tipper were influential in the B's victory.
Bliss Gate enjoyed a convincing 6-1 victory over Cock & Magpie with wins from Tim Green, Matt Sheehan, Richard Pollard and Barry Gordon.
Rising Sun A player Rob Jones hit a 10- darter against Bowling Club B player Dave Green, but Aide Finn helped Sun wrap up the night and hopefully kickstart their slow season into gear with a 5-2 victory.
Great Western went down 6-1 against Waggon & Horses and Wribbenhall Social were thumped by the same scoreline by Black Boy B.
Black Boy A made hard work of their win over Rising Sun B having to come back from 2-0 down to take the next five legs in a 5-2 win.
