A HANDFUL of matches in Herald Division Two of the Stratford Alliance produced an amazing 36 goals with Studley Nags Head leading the way after an 8-3 win at Badsey Rangers.
Stuart Doughty netted four times for the visitors - a goal haul matched by Welford's Nick Priest in his side's Cutler Division Three 5-0 defeat of Tysoe United,
Back in the second division and Richard Johnson and Andy Makin both scored twice as the Dog and Pheasant hit seven without reply against Shipston, while only one goal adrift were Halfords for whom Mark Thomas, Trevor Towler and Darrel Feasey all found the net twice in a 6-0 triumph.
There were also six goals in the other two matches with Matt Sollis and Matt Print sharing the goals as Swan Inn overcame Littleton 4-2, while FISSC boasted four different marksmen in a similar success over Cubb-ington Albion.
While Welford's senior side were romping to victory, the B team were on the wrong end of a seven-goal hammering at Henley Forest.
Nick Clarke and Stuart Drink-water both scored twice in Blockley's 5-1 win over Quin-ton Reserves, while Shaun Read hit a brace as struggling Bidford defeated Inkberrow 4-2.
Action in Aquaid Division One saw early pacesetters BIdford and Broadway both net maximum points and keep clean sheets.
Bidford scored twice thanks to efforts from Richard Sutton and Dan Simpson in victory at Southam, while Broadway eased to a 3-0 win over Stratford Spartak thanks to goals from Darrell Betley, Luke Bayliss and Gary Hawkins.
Goals from John McGee and Jeremy Warner ensured single goal wins for Alcester Lions and Henley Forest respectively, while Mark Morrey, Chris Valentino and Mark Sansev-rino were on target in Quinton's 3-1 defeat of Bad-sey United who replied through Tim Beattie.
Quinton and Bidford lock horns at Stratford Town's Masons Road home on Mon-day in an Invitation Cup Final for the Foster Shield.
The game kicks off at 7.30pm and all proceeds go to the Renal Unit at Stratford Hospital. The match is being sponsored by Aquaid of Bidford.
