BRENDA Williams, chairman of the Tenants Consultative Committee, Birchen Coppice, and myself are constantly being contacted by residents expressing their concerns and dissatisfaction over the current bus service, which is less than acceptable.
It is not only the elderly who use and rely on this mode of transport.
It is used by all age groups within the community, many relying on buses to get to college or work.
This is an issue we are constantly battling with and it is very disturbing when we are informed of people waiting over an hour for their bus. It sometimes never turns up or two will turn up with the first one being jam-packed.
We are delighted that this is now being dealt with and would hope to see, at the very least, the service running to its advertised schedule.
