KIDDERMINSTER Harriers Ladies increased the pressure on West Midlands Premier League leaders West Bromwich Albion with a 2-1 win at Headless Cross.
They took the lead in the 16th minute through Sarah Washburn before Teressa Boddington levelled the scores for Cross just before the hour mark.
But a dramatic 87th minute winner from player of the match Vicky Roberts clinched the victory that keeps Kidderminster breathing down Albion's neck in second.
They will be able to apply more pressure when they entertain the table-toppers on Sunday.
Another Roberts, this time Kirsty, was the heroine of the day for Harriers Ladies Reserves with a four-goal salvo in their 4-3 Worcestershire County League win at Worcester City Reserves.
Roberts has now scored 16 goals in just four games with Harriers currently in third place.
The reserves are away at Burlish Olympic in the Kidderminster Hospital Cup at 2pm on Sunday.
Burlish are one place higher than Harriers in second having preserved their 100 per cent record with a comprehensive 12-0 thrashing of Pershore Town.
Debbie Prescott fired in five, Mary Calder hit a hat-trick, Sarah Lojko bagged a brace with player of the match Rachel McGowan also notching. Even goalkeeper Becky Butler got in on the act with a penalty.
Olympic are joint top on points but despite their free-scoring victory, still trail leaders Phoenix Hereford on goal difference.
