CLEOBURY Mortimer are still looking for their first league win since gaining promotion to Midlands Four West South after going down 23-18 at leaders Aston Old Edwardians.
With captain Paul Harding out for most of the season with a broken arm winger Steve Morris will now have a permanent place in the centre.
Vice captain Allan Shields took over as skipper and was also Cleobury's stand-in kicker with Julian Harding unavailable.
Despite the changes, Cleobury set off at a rapid pace and led 18-3 at the interval with John Hulland and James Manley crossing and Shields kicking a penalty and a conversion.
But with Edwardians using the blustery conditions to their favour after the break they staged a fine comeback to grab the points.
