DEAN Ball has been frantically thumbing the pages of his sizeable rugby contacts book in a bid to bring in several quality players to help turn around Bromsgrove's season.
The Boars have made a poor start to the season, losing all of their three games so far and Ball feels he needs to add some quality to the squad quickly.
However, the coach, who spent much of his playing career with Worcester and Moseley, has an impressive list of friends in high places he intends to call upon in a bid to help him out with some decent players.
"A lot of the lads I played with are now directors of rugby at clubs around the Midlands and I have been in touch with many of them to enquire about them helping us out with some players.
"I believe we are only two or three players away from being a good side, but then if you get a few injuries you are back to square one so I am hoping to be able to bring in four, five or six new faces."
