A NEW striker is top of Rod Brown's shopping list and the Redditch manager knows who he wants at the club.
"I have two players in mind who are both high quality finishers who are having indifferent times at the clubs they are with," he explained.
"We are looking at them at the moment. We need a striker and a midfield player and I am looking to bring in two players in the next two weeks and maybe have some of the injured ones fit again."
Reds are without a game on Saturday - their next match is at Stafford Rangers on October 15 - but Brown certainly won't be taking it easy.
"I will be going to look at these players - maybe taking in two games, a half at each.
"And the other thing about having a free Saturday is it gives us a chance to regroup because injuries mean we are down to the bare bones."
Central defender Mark Creighton hobbled off in Saturday's 1-1 draw with visitors Gainsborough Trinity - another name added to the lengthy injury list.
"I have had the worst luck I have ever had with injuries this year," Brown added. "Mark Creighton has had a re-occurrence of an injury he had three weeks ago on his hip. He will go for an X-ray and I'm just hoping he has not cracked a bone - but then nothing would surprise me this season.
"But the spirit among the players is very good and the one thing you cannot knock is the effort they are putting in at the moment."
