FECKENHAM manager Lee Adams is set to ring the changes when the Millers take on table-topping Alveston at the Valley Stadium tonight (ko 7.45pm).

Adams was so incensed by his team's display on their way to a 2-0 defeat against lowly Highgate United that he warned as many as seven of the side could be left out of his starting line-up.

"I don't think we had a good player on the field," Adams fumed after Feckenham slumped to their fourth defeat of the season. "We were poor to begin with and went from bad to worse."

Highgate, managed by former Alvechurch boss Peter Frain, went into the match still looking for their first win of the season. But a goal in each half brought an end to their six-match wait.

"It was the same old story," Adams added. "You warn players not to be complacent against a side at the foot of the table and they take no notice.

"A goalkeeping error gave them a goal and although Jamie Bailey and Stuart Douglas missed chances for us, we didn't work hard and just went through the motions.

"They then hit a wonder goal from 20-yards and that killed us off.

"I expect some desire from the players but that is one of the poorest displays I have seen from a Feckenham side since I have been at the club."

Among those set for a recall tonight are Steve Ferguson, Gavin Barratt and Brett Skinner. Adams is also hoping Mark Davies will have recovered from a knock.

"Anyone can beat anyone in this league and two wins from our next two games would put us in a nice position," the manager added.

The Millers head to Pilkington XXX for a league clash on Saturday (ko 2.45pm).
