THE disgraceful pictures of Walter Wolfgang being evicted from the Labour Party conference last week shocked us all, just because he dared to challenge Jack Straw on Iraq.

It now shows us all what a once proud nation has become, if any dissent is met with such brutality.

Tony Blair has managed to control the thoughts of all who work for the Labour Party, but how dare he try to suppress the voice of the people. The bouncers who did this dastardly deed said they were only following orders. We should be asking - who gave these orders?

So now we have finally lost our freedom of speech. It was inevitable, as every time anyone raised concerns that our way of life was gradually being eroded, the shout of racist goes up as we must not offend other cultures. We are always being told that we are a multi-cultural society, but what about our culture? Don't we count any more?

We now read about the banning in Dudley of the pig in the workplace - toy pigs, pigs on calendars, anything in the workplace to do with pigs is now to be banned, in case we offend Muslims.

Another insult is Birmingham celebrating Winterfest and not Christmas.

This is not my idea of multi-culturism, but domination by the back door.

Surely settlers should honour the ways of the host country, not try to change it?
