COFFEE and conversation will be served up to elderly residents at a monthly meeting.
Redditch Older People's Forum is launching a monthly coffee morning from Thursday, October 13, following the success of its first session in September.
The coffee morning will take place every second Thursday of the month from 10-11.30am at the Ecumenical Centre in Evesham Walk.
Visitors can look forward to a short speech on a topic concerning elderly folk followed by coffee and biscuits. Fair Trade goodies will also be on sale.
Next week, there will be a speech from a representative from North Worcestershire Care and Repair Agency, which provides a supervised, cost-effective scheme of repair for property owners.
Forum spokesman Lorna White said: "Please come along to socialise, learn something which may help to improve your lifestyle and most importantly, to let the forum know what you would like to see in Redditch to make life better for older people."
