HOMEOWNERS living in Worcester are being encouraged to transform their green waste in to beautiful and blooming gardens by composting at home.
Thanks to Worcester County Council and WRAP - the Waste & Resources Action Programme - local residents can now buy a compost bin for just £3 to get them started.
The offer will be available from 10am to 3pm on Sunday, at Worcester Rugby Club, in Pershore Lane, Hindlip.
The bin, which usually costs £49.95, comes with a How to Compost guide, fridge magnet and stickers to put on the bin with guidelines on what can and can not be composted.
A home composting advisor will also be on hand at Sixways rugby stadium to answer any questions and give out some advice.
