WORCESTER Warriors are preparing for life without key players next month after Pat Sanderson and Ben Hinshelwood were called up for their respective countries.
And the pair will almost certainly be joined by Chris Horsman when Wales announce their squad for the autumn series.
Hinshelwood is one of 33 players chosen by newly-appointed Scotland head coach Frank Hadden for the games against Argentina, Samoa and New Zealand.
The 28-year-old has started all of this season's games for Warriors on the wing but also operates at centre.
His selection follows news that Sanderson is to join England's training camp, despite being left out of the EPS squad last month.
Sixways director of rugby John Brain said: "I'm delighted that Pat's consistent form for us has been recognised by the England management. This makes his non-inclusion in the original EPS squad all the more surprising."
Brain is set to be without Horsman for much of the autumn as well after Wales prop Gethin Jenkins was ruled out of the matches.
The absence of the British Lions player paves the way for Horsman to make his debut for his adopted country at tight-head.
Other Worcester players set to be involved in international action this year are Jonny Hylton and Chris Hallam, who have both been called up to the England Sevens wider squad of 29.
The wider squad will play a minimum of four games throughout the season as the sevens prepare for next year's Commonwealth Games.
Hylton missed almost all of last season with a knee injury but has returned to start every game this term.
Academy player Hallam is a back-row convert who now plays at scrum-half.
Sevens coach Mike Friday said: "The aim of England Sevens is to develop young English talent and help them become forces in the Premiership and hopefully progress on to the senior England squad.
"It is going to be hard for these new youngsters as they have a very tough act to follow but they are all talented."
Sanderson has figured in previous sevens sides but his inclusion in Andy Robinson's training squad means that he will not be involved this time around.
