ANCHOR FALCONS 0, PHOENIX 4
ANCHOR Falcons bowed out of the Sunday Junior Cup on Sunday when they were beaten by higher-graded Kidderminster League side Phoenix at Dysons.
After a much more encouraging first half performance, Anchor faded a little in the second period and Phoenix proved too strong.
Skipper Carl Wilkins, on his return from injury, carried off the man of the match award whilst Mike Griffin on the left flank, centre half Mark Berry and striker Paul Park can be pleased with their contributions.
This Sunday Falcons entertain Barbourne Celtic in a league match at Dysons, players meet 9.45am.
