Three Counties Agricultural Society will make its case for extended licensing hours at a public hearing.
It wants to sell alcohol and hold public entertainments at its Malvern Wells showground until 1am on Friday and Saturday, and midnight the rest of the week.
The current licence allows it to hold entertainment until 1am Monday to Friday, midnight on Saturday and 11pm on Sunday.
The district council has received eight objections, citing public nuisance and safety concerns. In recent years, there have been a concerns about noise from events at the showground.
The hearing is at Priory Lodge Hall, Avenue Road., Malvern, on Thursday, October 13, at 10am.
