ENGLAND international Crista Samaras led an excellent lacrosse coaching day held at Malvern Girls' College.
Crista is a colourful and enthusiastic coach who played in the recent Lacrosse World Cup, where England finished third behind the USA and the winners, Australia.
More than 100 girls aged 11-18 from Malvern Girls' College, Malvern College and Alice Ottley attended the day which was organised through UK Lacrosse, who provided coaches from several different countries.
Jackie Marks, PE teacher at the College, said: "This was an excellent opportunity for girls to gain a wider experience of Lacrosse techniques and all enjoyed an stimulating day."
Another sporting success for Malvern Girls' College is Abigail Sands who has been selected for the U16 County netball squad, although she is only 14.
Abigail said: "I am very excited about being in this county squad as it will be more challenging. By playing with older girls I hope to improve my game."
