ULTIMATE Karate has been established for over eight years and has expanded with clubs across the Three Counties area.
Chief instructor Neil Bennett, 4th dan, developed Ultimate Karate with the knowledge he gained from his 14-year martial arts background. Together with senior instructor Malc McClure, 2nd dan, they provide top- class martial arts coaching.
"We are delighted to welcome to our team a new instructor, Nigel Lee, who will be opening our Worcester class, held at Powick village hall, on Tuesday, October 4 at 7.30pm," said Neil.
Nigel has been training at the Malvern club with Neil and Malc for two years and has now welcomed the opportunity to open his own club for Ultimate Karate. Nigel has an impressive martial arts background and holds a black belt 2nd dan in kick-boxing. He was also British full-contact kick-boxing champion.
Self-defence is regularly taught with a practical realistic approach, therefore the students of any age can gain confidence and develop personal awareness of potential dangers in today's violent society.
Ultimate Karate specialise in coaching an anti-bullying defensive system for children, which is easy to learn and has been proven to be effective. Anyone who wishes to start learning martial arts can go along to the Worcester class or the Malvern class, held on a Wednesday, 6.30pm for children, 7.30pm for intermediate and adult beginners. These classes are held at Malvern Link Primary School, Cromwell Road.
