TALENTED performers between the ages of eight and 18 will compete for the title of Worcestershire Young Musician.
The event, organised by Worcestershire Arts Education, is open to soloists and ensembles.
Soloists compete for the Nomura Award, a prize of £250 which enables them to enjoy a lesson with a leading performer, while groups can win £250 for their school's music department.
Any young musicians interested in entering, should ask their school music teacher for details. The closing date for entries is Monday, October 17.
The final will be held at Huntingdon Hall, Worcester, on Thursday, November 24, and will be recorded by BBC Hereford and Worcester for broadcast at a later date.
Tickets for the final are available from 01905 611427 priced £6 (concs £3).
