STRATFORD-based Carpe Diem Theatre's autumn term has begun with classes at Evesham Arts Centre on Monday evenings. Acting workshops for students from year three to age 21 are available.

Students receive specialised instruction in various areas of the performing arts including acting, voice, movement, mime, improvisation, stage combat, circus skills, text, storytelling, and theatre games, and each workshop focuses on a different thematic project or play. Courses for children from ages three to year two are held at Stomps in Stratford.

Additionally students have the opportunity to work with playwright John Michael Jennings in developing a new play about homeless children. This 20-week workshop will end in a performance at the Waterside Theatre. Due to the mature nature of this project students who are in year nine and up next may participate.
