A STOURPORT teenager who underwent a life-saving transplant operation in April will take part in her mountain mission this Saturday after being forced to postpone an earlier attempt.
Charlotte Worton, 15, will walk up Wales's Mount Snowdon, Britain's second highest peak, to raise funds for Birmingham Children's Hospital's Liver Unit.
The Stourport High School pupil is raring to go after having to call off her first attempt last month on the advice of doctors who had concerns over her health.
Charlotte said: "I feel a lot better now and am looking forward to the walk now.
Anybody who wants to sponsor Charlotte can call her father, Philip Worton, on 01299 823581.
