BANDS and buskers are being sought to help add to the atmosphere when Stourport lights up for the festive period.
Organisers are calling for musicians to volunteer their services on November 25 when the town centre will switch on its Christmas lights.
The popular annual event, which attracted more than 5,000 people last year, will run between 4pm and 7pm.
Carols will fill the air as a procession winds its way through the town's streets in time with the big switch-on.
Organiser Pete Roberts said: "It is always a really nice night that people enjoy. Hopefully we can make this year's event better than ever."
Any musicians wishing to volunteer their services should contact Mr Roberts on 01299 826930.
