TIM Taylor, of Stourport, has been named one of the UK's best house building site managers for the second time in three years by the industry's official body.
He received a quality award in the NHBC's - National House Building Council's - 2005 Pride in the Job Campaign, an annual competition to identify site managers showing particular commitment to their jobs.
Mr Taylor has worked for Miller Homes for five years and has been responsible for several developments across the Midlands. He is currently working on one in Bromsgrove.
Candidates are assessed on their commitment to high standards on all aspects of the construction process and judges visit sites at key stages of building.
Site managers also need to demonstrate problem solving ability.
Martin Downing, managing director of Miller Homes, West Midlands, said: "Tim is an excellent site manager and has, once again, proved his worth with a second award in three years and I'm sure it won't be his last."
