CHADDESLEY Corbett claimed an extra-time victory over Hallow WMG after coming within a minute of an embarrassing Worcester FA Junior Cup exit.
Despite leading through an Iain Millroy penalty early on, Corbett entered the closing stages 2-1 down after goals from Phil Turpin and Simon Judge.
But a last gasp strike from Jon Baker sent the tie into extra time where further goals from James Dale, Milroy and Tony Vale ended Hallow's brave resistance.
Chaddesley keeper Gary Moore said: "Although we did not play well I thought we were the better side and credit to the lads for pulling it out of the bag.
"We put in a superb extra-time performance."
After an encouraging start to the season, boss Martin Westcott has moved to strengthen his West Midlands League division two squad further.
Local lad Jonathan Prichard, a 23-year-old striker, has signed and will hopefully be available for Saturday's home match against Brereton Town, which kicks off at 2.45pm.
Prichard has a pedigree for goals having scored more than 20 times for the University of Wales last season.
Marvin Whitter and Tony Vale currently top the scoring charts with five apiece.
