I AM writing to thank our local bin and recycling collectors as they always seem to get bad press.
We foster a disabled child who enjoys seeing the men send up the recycled items into the various compartments, and the items from the bins being crushed.
They did this for him every week during the summer holidays, much to his delight.
He doesn't see them every week now as he is at school when they call.
However, last week when I was at home, the men called as usual and knocked on our door.
They had taken a photo of the recycling lorry, had it printed on an A4 sheet of paper and had it laminated for our foster son as they knew he was at school and wouldn't see them.
We don't know the names of the bin men but we would like to say "thank you very much" to them.
