HOUSEHOLDERS in Evesham and the surrounding areas have been warned to make sure their homes are secure following a spate of burglaries.
And police are appealing for help from the public following a number of incidents last weekend, several of which appear to be related.
A £700 grey Sony laptop computer - registration number PCGK415B - and a £400 blue and grey Hewlett Packard laptop were stolen from an address in Cleeve Road, Middle Littleton between 6.30am on Saturday September 24, and 11am on Sunday, September 25.
A Stihl chainsaw was stolen from a second property in Cleeve Road at around the same time.
A boy's 14ins bike was stolen from an address in Blacksmiths Close, South Littleton, between 3am on Friday, September 16 and 10am on Sunday, September 18. The £260 silver Saracen Exile, which was missing its saddle, has Halfords lights and special pedals.
A caravan door was damaged when a tool was used to wrench it open at an address in Pershore Road, Evesham.
A music stack system was damaged and a £150 Sony CD player - model number XR-XA-670X - was stolen. Damage to the music system and the caravan door is estimated at £400.
