UP to 600 people are expected to take part in a parade in Kidderminster town centre on Sunday.
Members of the Boys Brigade Worcestershire Battalion and the Girls Brigade Hereford and Worcester and Stour Valley districts will march from New Road car park to Kidderminster Town Hall for their annual parade service.
Police are advising motorists to avoid the town centre while the parade, which sets off at 2.30pm, is taking place. It will pass through Corporation Street and Exchange Street on its way to the town hall.
Following a service, the parade returns to New Road via High Street and Worcester Street, arriving back at about 4.30pm.
Kidderminster town centre beat officer, PC Garry Burns, said: "Roads will be closed on a rolling basis and opened as soon as the parade has passed but there may be minor disruption and motorists are advised to avoid the town centre during the afternoon, if possible."
This year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the 1st Kidderminster Boys Brigade, previously 8th Kidderminster.
A celebratory weekend, on Saturday and Sunday, November 5 and 6, takes place at Milton Hall Baptist Church. Any former members of the company are invited to contact company captain, Stephen Bentham, on 01562 630471, for details.
