QUIZZICAL looks were exchanged when more than 40 teams from various companies took part in a fund-raising event part-sponsored by a Kidderminster firm.
Water treatment business, Purac, was among organisers of the Midlands region Big Quiz 2005, with £10,000 generated going to WaterAid.
The quiz, which attracted entries from water treatment companies, contractors, suppliers and media and PR firms, was held in Droitwich.
WaterAid provides domestic water, sanitation and hygiene education to the world's poorest people.
George Johnston, Purac's business development manager, said: "This was the third year the quiz has been held in the Midlands and we're looking forward to an equally, if not more, successful event next year."
Purac employees also raised over £2,000 for WaterAid by walking up Scottish munros - mountains over 3,000 ft high.
The Purac walkers were Gary Hooper, Malcolm Philcox, Peter Mills, Mike Halliday, Richard Stanley, Richard Windsor, Rachael Clapham, Chris Shaw, Matthew Ely, Wendy Ely and Matthew Harpham.
Mr Cooper said: "Everyone had a good day's walking in the Scottish mountains, coming down tired but with a great sense of achievement."
