THE president welcomed members to the September meeting, the first after the summer holiday.
Information was given about the group walk around Arrow Valley Lake where it was hoped 90 people would take part.
A further walk was also announced at Waseley Hills.
A group meeting is planned for October and names were taken for our Harvest Supper on October 14.
An Xmas meal was another forthcoming attraction and members voted to go out in December.
The Xmas shopping trip to Chester and our Xmas party is to be on December 6.
The speaker for the evening was Confidantes - Anny showed lots of bras and lingerie and explained how these were made and how to be sure you were wearing the right size of bra.
It was a very interesting and at times amusing talk.
We followed this with a cheese and wine party to celebrate 90 years of WI.
A toast was made and everyone enjoyed the feed.
Competition results were given, the raffle drawn and the next meeting announced, October 4 at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome.
