Theatre review - Seven Brides For Seven Brothers at the Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham
THIS show has been around for years but it's still as fresh and entertaining as ever.
It's meant to be a lively musical and this production provided all the necessary effervescence to make you feel good.
Great voices all round, in particular Dave Willetts, who has starred in many of our major musicals such as Cats and Les Miserables - a splendid Adam Pontipee, the role made famous in the film version starring Howard Keel. And Shona Lindsay was also outstanding on her return to her roots.
Top class enjoyment. PH
