GOALKEEPER Jahmal Taylor was forced to produced a series of fine saves despite Bredon's margin of victory.

Goals from Nick Hill and Stuart Dare gave Athletico a two-goal interval cushion.

Taylor's heroics left United scoreless and frustrated and further misery was heaped on the visitors when Ed Scarrott, Robert Jeal and Charlie Morefield added to the Bredon tally.

Bidford 1, Bredon Colts U-12 4

AN EXCELLENT team display against well-organised opponents helped Colts record a fine victory.

Bredon's good start was rewarded when Liam Lewis nodded in the opener from a corner.

It was 2-0 when Jack Gibbs also found the net but the failure to clear a corner kick gifted Bidford a reply.

However, a thumping drive from Matthew Hughes restored Bredon's two-goal cushion by half-time after which play was more event until Arran Williams popped up with a well-taken effort to secure victory for the Colts.
